When in Los Angeles, I can party without having to drive a car?

I'll be in Los Angeles in late June sense to me not to rent a car because I will be there only for one night. I wonder where I can using and enjoying the nightlife of Los Angeles and / or Hollywood can offer, without renting a car.

The real question is: Will spend hours on a bus? Most of the nightlife is found in Hollywood and West Hollywood. But it undermines the credibility street in this city if you get off the bus and want to get into a club. Say you meet a girl, and she wants to go to another club, or perhaps in place. What will you say, "Let's take the bus? "LA is all about the car, baby.
